I've got iTunes. Who doesn't? Not long ago I ripped nearly all my CDs into iTunes (still some to go out of a rather large collection). That's great for my iPod, but then what? How do I play these tunes on my stereos?

Enter Airport Express. The Airport Express receives a stream of audio over a wireless or wired network. iTunes pushes out music to the Airport Express just as if it were playing on my computer's speakers. The Airport Express has a stereo mini jack so that it can plug directl…

RL is the flagship artist for Fat Possum Records. Raunchy best describes his style, close to the style of Junior Kimbrough

Emusic is a great way to sample. Here's a song I heard off of Pandora (you'll need a Pandora account) just before writing this page, featuring Lyrics Born with RL.

Everyone has a favorite radio station. Well, I take that back. Everyone has, at one time or another, had a favorite radio station. Pandora is for those of you who's favorite station was about music.

Imagine a DJ that knows exactly what you like. The DJ plays stuff you know and love, and also spends hours and hours tracking down stuff that you've never heard but would be right up your alley. Pandora asks you to tell them an artist or two you like and that's it. You've got a station.

Dave Marsh publishes this newsletter with excellent, brief music reviews and diatribes against censorship and the music industry. He's been at it since the early 80's.

Dave is probably best known as a reviewer for Rolling Stone Magazine.
